K loves her blankie! She sleeps with it every nap and at nightime, holding it as she sucks her thumb. She has just started crawling to her crib and pulling it out through the bars and carrying it around the house for between nap "blankie fixes".

Today she started climbing down the stairs backwards, which is a big relief for me-- I don't have to worry so much with the stairs.

K was walking everywhere today! She made it all the way across the kitchen by herself. She was so proud of herself that she sat down and clapped when she was done.

After "helping" to weed the garden...


She saw us pulling something out of the flower beds, and decided that she would help and pulled out handfuls of wood chips. This was at 7:00 at night, but the temperature was still above 90 degrees, so her face is bright red.
